It's now been a few years since I first tried to understand AOP, at least at the conceptual level and its terminology. The other day it occurred to me that the terminology still feels strange. Not that it matters all that much, but why is it called "advice"? It's not advice, is it? It's more like a forced thing, isn't it? Can anyone enlighten me?
