From time to time I have heard that Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is seen as the opposite to SOA by SOA-ers. For example I wonder if those SOA-ers have read the whole DDD book, including the part called "Strategic Design"? As I see it, there is lot of useful ideas there for SOA as well, or what am I missing?
